News Safer Roads Campaign 2015

The Traffic Police (TP) and the Singapore Road Safety Council (SRSC) organised the Safer Roads Campaign 2015 on Sunday, 15 November 2015 at Singapore Expo Hall 3. For the third year running, the title sponsor for this campaign is   Mr Amrin Amin, Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs graced the event as the Guest-of-Honour.  The campaign’s tagline this year is “Drive to Zero Accidents”, which serves to encourage all road users to adopt good road safety habits with the aim of zero traffic fatalities.

About 74 conscientious motorists were being commended for their exemplary road use behaviour. This brings the total number of conscientious motorists spotted by TP to 600 since the launch of the “Spot the Conscientious Motorists” programme in October 2013. These motorists received petrol and insurance vouchers sponsored by With this programme, TP and SRSC hope to inspire more conscientious motorists to become role models and influence other road users to emulate their gracious and exemplary road safety habits.
